To all my fellow Hufflepuffs out there.

A Very Potter Threequel is definitely in the works.

I know everyone is going Harry Potter crazy right now. And I know probably 90% of tumblr went to the midnight premiere. But seriously, if you’re going to post spoilers in picture or GIF form, please put them under the tag spoilers so people can blacklist it or something. In all honesty, people shouldn’t have to blacklist anything, but I know once tumblr gets excited about something, everyone goes apeshit crazy trying to be the first person to post a GIF of something so they can get thousands of notes and more followers. For once, could this not be about the notes and followers and be about simple respect? The movie has just barely been out for 24 hours in the US. Not everyone could afford or make it to the midnight premiere. Doesn’t mean they’re any less of a potter fan or deserve any less respect. Think about how you would feel if you were already depressed because a) you didn’t get to go to the final HP midnight showing and b) the final Harry Potter movie ever was just released and you want to be captivated by the movie and not have seen the parts you’ve been waiting years to see already. And then you have to get spoiled by seeing things such as the Romione kiss on tumblr? That kiss has about 10 years of built up anticipation and most people don’t want to see it while passing through their tumblr dashboard. So please, if you feel the need to reblog GIFs or pictures from Deathly Hallows part 2, just simply tag it as spoilers. For those who haven’t seen it, blacklist spoilers. However, it seems the only safe thing is to not be on tumblr until you see the movie, which is pretty unfair.

J.K. Rowling plagiarism lawsuit case dismissed.
